Buddy is a 2024 Telugu fantasy action movie. It was written and directed by Sam Anton and produced under Studio Green by K.E. Built by Gnanavel Raja and Adhana Gnanavelraja. The film stars Allu Sirish, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Prisha Rajesh Singh (in her first role) and Ajmal Amir. Music including lyrics and background score was composed by Hiphop Tamiza. Krishnan Vasant did the cinematography and Reuben handled the editing.

The film is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Teddy’. This is the second time Allu Sirish and Ali have worked together, their previous project being “Srirastu Subhamastu”. This is also Sirish’s first collaboration with director Sam Anton.

Buddy was released in theaters on 2 August 2024 and received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences.
