Krishnamma Movie Story, Review and Plot
Malayalam and Tamil directors are known for making very realistic films, with scenes that feel real and true to life. “Krishnamma” is one such film. It stars actor Satyadev, known for his work in realistic cinema. The film was released today. Here is a detailed review of “Krishnamma”:
Bhadra (played by Satyadev) is an orphan who has a close relationship with his friends Koti and Shiva. All three have the same background. Bhadra and Koti sell ganja (marijuana) in Vijayawada, and their lives change when Meena enters. Meena falls in love with Shiva. Just as things start going well, Bhadra, Koti, and Shiva are arrested and sent to jail, which changes everything. The rest of the film is about why he is arrested and what crime he is accused of.

Analysis:
Krishnamma explores a common theme where innocent people are jailed for crimes they did not commit. The biggest strength of the film is the strong friendship and emotional bond between the three friends. The setting of Inchipet in Vijayawada has been portrayed authentically without any fake sets or colors. Satyadev and his co-actors do a great job with the local dialect, making their performances believable. Satyadev’s portrayal of Bhadra is particularly impressive. The director takes time to show the bond between the friends and their emotional journey. The main story starts unfolding just before the interval, which makes the first half quite good.
The second half of the film focuses on the crime and proving the friends’ innocence. Some scenes are a little too long and the explanation of his arrest is not very clear. However, ultimately the director tells the whole story. The revenge part of the story feels rushed and generic. A complaint that lasts for 12 years is resolved in just 12 minutes, which reduces its impact. Had the revenge story been handled better, “Krishnamma” could have been a great film. Due to this rushed story, some scenes may confuse the audience.
The stars have aligned for #Krishnamma and so have the blockbuster directors of Telugu Cinema ❤️🔥

Satyadev is a natural actor who brings a lot of emotion to his role as Bhadra. He fits the character perfectly and his use of the local language is spot on. His acting is particularly strong in the climax scenes, with deep emotions reflected through his eyes. Archana Iyer’s role in the story is small and seems a bit imposed. Adhira Raj has done a good job in her character. Nand Gopal is impressive as a cop, and Lakshman and Krishna are solid as Bhadra’s friends.
Technical Aspects:
Technically, “Krishnamma” is well-made and impressive. The music of Kaal Bhairav may not be memorable, but the background score supports the film well. The editing could have been better, but the locations around the Krishna River are beautifully shown. The dialogues are well written and fit the realistic style of the film. Overall, Krishnamma is a slow-paced revenge drama that may test the audience’s patience at times. However, the emotional depth and drama, especially in the second half, make it worth watching.
