Tejas is a 2023 thriller action film, was directed by Sarvesh Mewada and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Kangana Ranaut played the lead role, while Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mittra were in supporting roles.
Unfortunately, the film did not perform well when it released on October 27, 2023. Critics did not like it much and it was a major disappointment at the box office. Within just two days it was declared one of the biggest flops of Hindi cinema. Theaters also stopped screening it soon after its premiere.
To try to save some, the film was released on ZEE5 on January 5, 2024, with the hope that it would perform better when viewers watched it online.

Tejas Movie Story, Review & Plot
Tejas teaches us that it’s okay to break the rules sometimes to achieve greatness. Right from the start, it shows that if you have confidence in yourself, you can succeed, even if you don’t always follow orders. Following the rules may help you climb the ladder, but true success comes from following your instincts and being really good at what you do. The main character, Tejas, embodies this spirit as she prepares for her first solo mission, focusing not only on the runway but also on her mission to serve her country.
As the story unfolds, Tejas, played by Kangana Ranaut, sets out on a mission to save an Indian spy. Even though she was not the first choice because she is a woman, she proved herself by finding the detective, who is an old friend from her academy days. She struggles to join the mission and her determination succeeds when the mission is named after her.
Tejas’s story reflects the struggles that many women face every day to prove themselves. She is not only a skilled pilot but also a patriotic officer who can find clues that even intelligence agencies miss. Although the portrayal of the Pakistani army may be a bit exaggerated, the character of Tejas is true to life.
Tejas film has all the excitement of a Bollywood film but a little less. Kangana Ranaut shines on the screen by showing her talent and dedication. And Anshul Chauhan, who plays Tejas’ co-pilot Aafia, adds some funny moments to this serious story.
