Mr. Bachchan: The Last Hope is a 2024 Telugu action thriller film directed by Harish Shankar. It is produced by a team including T.G. The film features Ravi Teja in the lead role, Bhagyashree Borse making her Telugu debut and Jagapathi Babu in the lead role.
The film is based on the real-life income tax raid on Indian businessman Sardar Inder Singh. Mr. Bachchan is a remake of the 2018 Hindi film Raid. It was released on August 15, 2024, but received negative reviews, which led to the film being shortened by 13 minutes.

Mr. Bachchan Story
2024 Telugu Action Thriller Mr. Bachchan plays the role of Ravi Teja Anand, a brave and honest Income Tax officer who is known for prosecuting people who hide their wealth through corruption. His life changes when he falls in love with Jikki, played by Bhagyashree Borse, a woman from the Marwari community in his hometown.
The political scene in the area is controlled by MP Jaggaiah (Jagpati Babu), who holds a grudge against Anand for embarrassing Jaggaiah’s family due to a past incident. Determined to take revenge, Jaggaiah becomes the target of a massive income tax raid led by Anand and his team.
The movie shows how Anand gets the nickname “Mr Bachchan” and the challenges he faces during this intense raid, which even gets him suspended from his job. It also follows the love story between Anand and Jikki, which leads to their marriage, and builds up to the tense, dramatic foray into Jaggaia’s mansion. Throughout the story, Anand uses his cleverness to thwart Jagya’s evil plans, showing how he is always one step ahead.
