Mastaney is a 2023 Punjabi movie that combines history with action and drama. It stars actors Tarsem Jassar and Gurpreet Khuggi in lead roles, with Simi Chahal and Karamjit Anmol also in important roles. The film is set in the year 1739 when Nader Shah invaded the region. His powerful army was challenged by a group of Sikh rebels. Unable to capture these rebels, Nader Shah decided to hire five regulars to pretend to be them.
