Hi Nanna, also known as Hi Papa among international audiences, is a 2023 Telugu romantic drama movie. It is directed by Shourev, who made his debut with this film, and produced by Vyara Entertainments. The lead roles are played by Mrinal Thakur and Nani.
The movie was first announced in January 2023 with the working title Nani 30, marking Nani’s 30th film as the lead actor. The official title, Hi Nanna, was announced in July 2023. Filming began in February 2023 and took place in several cities including Mumbai, Hyderabad and Coonoor. The shooting was completed by the end of September 2023.
Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music for Hi Nanna, which added a special touch to the emotional scenes of the film. Sanu Varghese did the cinematography, captured the beautiful scenes and Praveen Anthony took care of the editing, so that the film flows well.
Hi Nanna was released on December 7, 2023. It received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised the direction, acting and heartwarming story. The film was also successful at the box office, liked by the audience and also increased Nani’s popularity.
