De De Pyaar De (meaning “Give Me Love”) is a 2019 Indian romantic comedy film written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali, making his directorial debut. Produced by T-Series Films and Love Films, it stars Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh. The story follows a middle-aged NRI who is about to get a divorce and finds himself attracted to a much younger woman. This leads to hilarious chaos when he introduces her to his family, including his ex-wife and children.
Preparation for the film began in February 2017 and shooting began on 19 January 2018 in Mumbai. Filming locations include London and Kullu Manali, ending in August 2018. Released on May 17, 2019, De De Pyaar De was a huge success, grossing ₹143 crore (approximately US$17 million) worldwide.
A sequel is currently in the works, which will begin production in June 2024 and release on May 1, 2025. In the sequel, Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan and Rakul Preet Singh will star.

De De Pyaar De Release Date
Originally scheduled to release on 26 April 2019, De De Pyaar De was rescheduled to 15 March 2019 in India to avoid a clash with Avengers: Endgame. Later, another Devgan starrer Total Dhamaal, scheduled for 22 February 2019, was again postponed to 17 May 2019 to avoid competition. The film received a 135-minute runtime certificate from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). and paid previews on May 16, a day before its official release.
