Ganapath: A Hero is Born is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action-packed movie set in a dystopian future. Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Jackie Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, it stars Kriti Sanon, Amitabh Bachchan, Eli Avram and Rahman along with Tiger Shroff in double roles.
The film was announced in November 2020 and after extensive planning, filming began in November 2021. They shot scenes in the United Kingdom, Ladakh and Mumbai, which were completed by February 2023.
It hit the theaters on October 19, 2023, but unfortunately, it did not go down well with the critics and did not earn much at the box office.

Storyline and Plot
In a war-torn world, a high wall divides society: on one side, Silver City thrives under Dalini’s rule, catering to the wealthy. Opposite lies a deserted city where the poor, oppressed by Silver City’s control, struggle to survive.
Guddu lives in Silver City and works for John, organizing brutal boxing matches for the entertainment of the rich. Guddu has to pay with his life when John’s girlfriend Dimple causes conflict. Rescued by Kaizad, Guddu escapes to a poor town, where he meets Shiva, a skilled combat trainer, and his loyal student Jassi.
Under Shiva’s guidance, Guddu realizes that he is destined to become Ganapat, the hero predicted by Maharishi Dalpati. Showing loyalty to John and Dalini, he joins forces with Shiva and Jassi. Guddu wins the fight, earns money for his enemies, secretly plans to turn the tables.
In the final match, Guddu pits John and Dalini against him. He feigns defeat but wins and, to everyone’s shock, exposes their greed on live TV. Guddu reveals his true identity and confronts Dalini, the AI controlling Silver City. This promises a bright future and hints at more adventures in “Ganapath 2: Rise of the Hero”.
