Faf du Plessis is a well-known South African cricketer and former captain of the national team. He is famous for his amazing fielding skills and is often considered one of the best fielders in the game.
Currently, he plays for South Africa in T20 and ODI matches, having retired from Test cricket in 2021. He has created history as the first South African player to score a century in all three formats of cricket.

Faf du Plessis, born Francois du Plessis on July 13, 1984 in Pretoria, South Africa, is a famous cricketer known for his right-handed batting and occasional bowling. He is known for his excellent skills on the field and impressive fielding. In 2015, he achieved the impressive milestone of scoring a century in all formats of cricket. Till 2023, he plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, he was fetched in 2022 auction for Rs. 7 crores was bought. He replaced Virat Kohli as RCB captain in 2022. Before joining RCB, he played for Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiant. He has also participated in various other cricket leagues around the world including the Big Bash League. Unlike many of his peers, Faf began his international career for South Africa in his late twenties.
