Challengers movie is a 2024 film about a guy named Art Donaldson who used to be really good at tennis but now struggles. With the help of his wife and coach, Tashi Duncan, he tries to make a big comeback. But he encounters his old friend Patrick Zweig, who used to date Tashi.
Challengers film’s script was written by Justin Kuritzkes in February 2022. Luca Guadagnino directed the film, and actors such as Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Feist were hired to star in it. To prepare for his role, he trained for a long time with a tennis expert.
Filming began in May and ended in June, mostly in Boston. Sayambhu Mukdiprom, who had worked with Guadagnino on other films, was the cinematographer.
Challengers film was scheduled to release in September 2023 but was delayed due to some issues with the actors. It premiered in Sydney in March 2024 and was then released in the United States a month later thanks to Amazon MGM Studios.
Critics liked the film and said that its story was good and the acting was also good. It grossed approximately $79 million worldwide.

Challengers Movie Release Date OTT
Challengers film was scheduled to release on September 15, 2023, but then they changed it to August 11, 2023. It was also supposed to be the first film to be screened at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, but Amazon MGM Studios canceled it. Strike in 2023.
Ultimately, The Challengers premiered on March 26, 2024, in Sydney, Australia. It was then shown in Paris, London, and at the Westwood Village Theater in Los Angeles. Tennis player Venus Williams was at the Los Angeles premiere.
