Aadu 2 is an Indian comedy film released in 2017. It is a sequel to the 2015 film Aadu. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House.
Aadu 2 film has a big cast including Jayasuriya, Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatti, Anson Paul, Mamukoya, Bhagat Manuel, Vineet Mohan, Indrans, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Sudhi Koppa and Harikrishnan. They all returned to play their roles.
The shooting of the film started on 13 September 2017 and people were excited to watch it. Aadu 2 hit theaters in India on December 22, 2017. Even though the first film didn’t do well, Aadu 2 was a box-office success.

Aadu 2 Movie Storyline, Review, Plot
The second movie featuring Shaji Pappan and his gang, “Aadu 2,” is better than the first. The main problem with “Aadu Oru Bhikhara Jivianu” was that it had too much silly comedy. But in “Aadu 2”, Midhun Manuel Thomas does a better job of controlling the jokes, making it a more entertaining movie with some memorable funny scenes.
After the events of the first film, Pappan and his friends return to their normal lives, dealing with their problems and occasionally winning tug-of-war competitions. This time, instead of Neela Koduveli, there’s a new surprise (you’ll have to watch to find out). As before, Pappan and his friends get pulled into a crazy situation that leads to many funny moments.
The movie is meant to be silly and doesn’t always make sense, but that’s the point. The first film had a lot of this, which made it hard to watch (I watched it the first day). “Aadu 2” has more memorable scenes than ever, which depend a lot on its characters. The standout scene is the interrogation where the characters are dressed in Ramayana costumes – it’s really funny.

Midhun Manuel Thomas is great at writing witty dialogues. “Aadu 2” is enjoyable because the dialogues are funny. Physical comedy doesn’t always work, like the jeep challenge between Shamir and Xavier. The story is similar to the first movie, with changes to reflect current events. The cinematography is good, and the creative scenes like the shadow fight between Pappan and his mother are a nice addition. The editing is cleaner, though the product design could be better. The old songs are good, but the new ones are not as impressive.
Jayasurya is good at balancing humor and anger in the role of Pappan. Vijay Babu is funny as Sarabat Shamir. Saiju does a great job as the ugly Arakkal Abu, and my favorite is Dharmajan, whose lines are hilarious. Vinayakan is also fantastic, while Sunny Wayne’s Saathan Xavier is not so charming. Villains don’t show much emotion.
“Aadu 2” is definitely better than the first “Aadu”. If you liked the first movie for its content, this one will please you. Even if you weren’t a big fan of the first part, “Aadu 2” will make you laugh out loud.
