Bajrangi Bhaijaan Movie Story, Review, and Plot

Directed by Kabir Khan Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a touching action-romantic drama about Pawan, also known as Bajrangi and his mission to reunite a lost girl from Pakistan with her family. The story is full of emotion, bravery and a sense of unity.

The story begins with a five-year-old girl named Munni (played by Harshaali Malhotra), who gets separated from her mother at a busy railway station in India. Lost and scared, Munni finds shelter with Pawan, a kind-hearted devotee of Lord Hanuman, who comes from a family of wrestlers.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan depicts Pawan’s incredible journey to take Munni back to her parents. The film is set on the colorful streets of Chandni Chowk and takes the audience on an adventurous journey through the deserts of Punjab, Rajasthan and the snowy mountains of Kashmir.

Pawan’s determination to help Munni despite many obstacles is the heart of the story. The film begins with an exciting cricket match between India and Pakistan, a favorite pastime of both countries. We then see that a pregnant woman in Sultanpur village decides to name her child Shahida. Six years later, Shahida (Munni) is coming to Delhi with her mother to pray for her health.

On her way back, Shahida accidentally misses her train to Pakistan and is left alone in India. Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan) introduced him to the energetic song “Selfie Le Le Re”. Since Munni cannot speak, Pawan tries in various ways to understand where she comes from. He shares his life story in hopes of connecting with her.

In flashbacks we learn about Pawan’s past. His father considered him a failure, but after his father’s death, Pawan moved to Delhi to join a wrestling group as per his father’s wishes. There he meets Rasika (Kareena Kapoor) and falls in love.

The main story of the film revolves around whether Pawan can save Munni from danger and return her safely to her family in Pakistan. It also finds out if he can get Rasika’s father’s approval. These questions drive the story forward, making it an entertaining and emotional tale.
