Saaho (meaning “May Victory Be Yours”) is a 2019 Indian action thriller film, available in both Telugu and Hindi. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series, the film features Prabhas in his first Hindi role and Shraddha Kapoor in her Telugu debut. He is accompanied by Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff and other actors. The story follows two undercover agents who are on a mission to catch a thief who has stolen ₹2,000 crore (about US$284 million). Their investigation also reveals connections to the death of a business tycoon and the creation of a gang war.
Saaho film was shot in August 2017 in India, UAE, Romania and Austria. His music was presented by T-Series.
Saaho released in regular and IMAX theaters on August 30, 2019. It received mixed reviews: while the action, visual effects and cinematography were praised, many criticized its script, direction and length. Despite the criticism, Saaho did well financially, grossing between ₹419 crore (US$59.5 million) and ₹439 crore (US$62.34 million) globally against a budget of ₹350 crore. This made it very successful, especially the Hindi version, which did well commercially.
