Dunki is a 2023 Hindi comedy-drama movie released. It’s about a technique called Dunki involving illegal immigration. The film was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Jio Studios, and Red Chillies Entertainment. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal (in a special appearance) and Boman Irani.
The film was announced in April 2022 and was shot in various locations such as Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kashmir, Budapest, London, Jeddah, and Neom. It has music by Pritam and Shekhar Ravjiani, a background score by Aman Pant, and C.K. Cinematography by Muralitharan, Manush Nandan, and Amit Roy. Rajkumar Hirani also edited the film.
Dunki hit theaters worldwide on December 21, 2023, to mixed-to-positive reviews. It grossed around ₹470.6 crore globally, making it the fifth-highest-grossing Hindi film and the ninth-highest-grossing Indian film of 2023.
