Kannappa is an upcoming Telugu fantasy film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. It tells the story of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Produced by Mohan Babu, the film stars Vishnu Manchu, who also wrote the screenplay. This story is written by Parchuri Gopala Krishna, Ishwar Reddy, G. Written by Nageswara Reddy and Thota Prasad.
After launching on 18 August 2023, the film officially began shooting in New Zealand on 25 September 2023. Music composed by Stephen Devsey including score and lyrics. Initially shot in Telugu, “Kannappa” will be dubbed in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and English for a wider release. The teaser trailer was released on 14 June 2024 in all these languages.
